Epic pain in the...

The information in the epic level books from Wizards isnt part of the OGL (Open Gaming License) so unless Lone Wolf has a special agreement with Wiz, which i doubt, then they will not be able to make the content. It would be protected under copyright laws.

But if players would like to create the content themselves, that would be a way to get the information to the user community.

All the epic information is contained in the online SRD, so it must be part of the OGL, no?

The problem is not only with content, but with a limitation in HL itself, otherwise I would have already developed the content myself. As soon as you go above caster level 20, things start blowing up with array overflows - obviously a hardcoded size of the caster level array.

Yes, there's quite a bit of coding to do inside the program before characters could reach epic levels.

Epic is still something we want to do, but it has not been added to the schedule, so I can't tell you when it will be available.

Thanks for the reply. I was curious about this myself.
