I was wondering how you go about entering history/background for a realm. Specifically, history that isn't tied to a specific category. For example, if I'm running a Shadowrun game, I might want to have entries for all the significant dates on the timeline.

How have you recorded wide ranging text so it is useful?
 
Would you record it as an Event in the World Almanac?

That's what I've started doing with events from the Brevoy timeline in out Kingmaker campaign.
