Encounter Builder w/ Portfolio Settings

I have a question about the Encounter Builder, and I couldn't find a thread for it with a forum search so here goes. Is there any way for monsters that get added to a portfolio via the encounter builder to use your custom settings instead of the bare minimum default settings?

If so, I don't know how to do it and it wastes a fair bit of my time and energy. If not, please consider adding this as an option for a future update...
 
Open the Configure hero window for the monster, on the right side click one of the sources so that the "change settings" sub-window opens up, then hit the blue "Use Defaults" button (assuming you've set defaults beforehand).
