With Warhammer Fantasy,
With Empire
If you add a captain of the empire
Add a Dragon bow under magic weapons
Add a warhorse or pegasus as the mount
then add a lance it gives an error that you can't have a magic and a mundain weapon
It does let me add another longbow with no error.

I'm fairly sure you can have a lance and a dragon bow.
