Hi. I was putting my L5R collection into cv today when I started
thinking about the product itself. It seems a lot more development
has gone into the deckbuilding part of the program than the inventory
management part. Stuff like the inability to select which columns I
want to see, not all information being shown in the card info window
(rarity!) and some other minor things lead me to believe this. My
question is: is this intentional, meaning CV is mainly a deckbuilding
product with some inv man capabilities (which is fine) or is it a
question of a small devel team and priorities? Can I expect 1.1 to
have better functions to manage my card collection?

Keep up the great work

Abilio

Your assessment is correct on all counts. V1.0 did emphasize more of the
deck building functionality. V1.1 adds extensive functionality to the
inventory management. And you're exactly correct in assuming it's largely
due to having a small development team. A secondary factor was that I
really wasn't sure what everyone would want for inventory management
functionality. We've received some excellent feedback since V1.0 was
released, and we've been able to factor that into V1.1 to really address
the things users have said they want.

I think everyone is going to be thrilled with V1.1. In many ways, I think
the inventory functionality now equals or exceeds the deck building
functionality. :-)

My fingers are crossed that I'm right.... :-)

Any news of when this update will be available?

This weekend. All functionality is in. I'm tweaking and tuning a few form
layouts right now. Then I've got a lot of documentation to write. Happily,
Ed's working on a lot of the documentation already, so we're into the final
stretch. :-)
