ECL and Creature Hit Dice

Correct. It now falls into the DM ruling section instead of lots of pages of rules. Besides add in all the races from the ARG and I don't see the desire from players for playing Half-dragons and stuff anymore. Pretty much everything gets covered with 0HD races. :)

Pfft. There's never not a good reason to play a Half-Dragon Troll.

LOL I guess this true. :D I do use them as NPCs still. :p

But in the years sense moving to Pathfinder the requests for Half-dragon characters have dropped to nothing. Most players find a fun race from the ARG.

Just a note this is still on my to-do list to take a look at. See if I can see how to make this work the way Kendall-DM wants. I am hoping its just a good timing issue and can be done in a custom Script that Kendall-DM can run.

Shadow,

That's what I'm trying to avoid. I want to keep the racial HD as well as the class levels. I just don't want the racial HD to count as class levels for XP advancement. As HL works, it just doesn't work unfortunately.
Ok so looking at the hero field this can be done you just have to take the races LA + HD out of the hero field "tLevelAdj" is all.

Attached to this post is an updated .user file with a new adjustment called "Remove LA From XP" that should do exactly what you want. I just tested this on a Aasimar and a Troglodyte without issues. So if you have a Troglodyte then add this adjustment the character needs 1,000xp to advance from level 1 cleric to level 2 instead of 15,000xp.

Bingo! I had to do a bit of extra work so that things without class levels weren't being treated as humanoids and wanting to advance to level 1 at 0 XP, but got it working to perfection. Thanks once again for pointing this out!
