Dragon Disciple: Blood of Dragons

Dragon Disciple at 1st level gains the ability "Blood of Dragons" which lets the sorcerer levels and Dragon Disciple levels stack for bloodline abilities. Was playing around for my characters build and noticed that they were not stacking.

For testing purposes I Made a sorcerer 1 Barbarian 4 and gave myself 2 levels of Dragon Disciple. 1 sorcerer plus 2 Disciple should make my total sorcerer level 3 for bloodline abilities and grant me +1 nat ar and resistance energy 5 but it does not recognize the sorcerer level. If i give myself a 3rd disciple level, then the abilities kick in.

Anyone else notice this as well?
