Downloading of updates

I am visiting my parents abode and they only have DSL. I have received notice that my herolab files have updates (including the new APG files). But the download consistently fails at less than 20%.

Every time, I am required to restart the download.

So here is my suggestion for Lonewolf:

Would you PLEASE update your download system to allow for partial download and restart of download from the interupted point, rather than requiring the darn thing to start from the beginning again!!

Gosh, golly gee, even firefox (my browser) has that ability and I know that Adobe and other software providers have been doing this for years.

This has been a very aggravating experience, when I really love your products in general (having been an armybuilder user for years, and having just begun to love herolab).
So please add this to your list of system/software upgrades for your delivery of products to customers.

Thank you

I have to say that I haven't had great success with the auto-resume feature in Firefox, or any browser. Typically it either ignores the partially downloaded file and restarts from the beginning, or continues but manages to corrupt the file in some way so I have to start again anyway. :(

If this is a problem for you, I recommend that you use your web browser or other download accelerator to download the data files - you can download them from the Hero Lab Downloads section of your web site. That way you can grab them quickly, then just double-click to import them into Hero Lab.
