Disappearing 'Race' snippet/field when loading individuals

Anyone else having this issue.

I enter a new 'individual'.

Set Gender, Race, Role etc in the overview category.

Come back later, and the race is gone on a bunch of my entries.

Actually - now that I check, seems like the Role field is not sticking too. Weird.

Am I the only one?

I've been getting it too, and not just on Race, also on Gender. I still need to go back and check if any other tags are getting lost as well. I THINK it might be for non-Local tags where it happens but I'm not positive.

I've also been getting this for Race, Gender and Role. Thought it might be related to multiple tabs open simultaneously, but after some testing it seems not.

I've done most of my work in a single tab - I think I had more than one open for maybe twenty minutes - and it strikes me, too. It seems to be that the default selections (Male, Human, Other) get lost on a save.

Temp fix that seems to work for me: change the gender, race, role selections to something else, save topic, change back, save topic. Do NOT just go in and reconfirm the existing selections. Also do not go into the tag list, change it, change back, then save.

More on this bug - it seems I was wrong before, stuff vanishes anyway.

However, I've just tried something else that seems to be a consistent workaround until our lovely development team can isolate and fix this: Leave Edit Mode after saving changes. That has (so far) made it stick for me.

FYI, this bug should be fixed in the new Build 129 Beta. If you see this happen again, please holler. :)

Yes, I noticed it looks like there's a new default "None" option. So far, it seems to be working well, but that's only with a day or so poking at it.

It appears this is still bugged. A month or so ago I was losing gender and race settings. I thought it was related to default settings so I removed my defaults. To best of my knowledge I didn’t have any problems for several weeks. Last night I noticed it was changing Male to none. I reset a bunch back to Male last night… this morning they again show none. Anyone else having similar problems?

I’m now loosing Race settings in addition to Gender. If you will permit me a small rant… As Beta testers, our job is to report bugs and help you replicate the circumstances that created them. I think we would really be encouraged to do that if we felt someone on the Developer end was reading our posts, acknowledging them and perhaps hinting if the problem was being worked on or not…

Hey there everyone! It's possible that the developers have seen this thread (even though they may not comment, they're reading through forums posts), but the best way to report bugs is to send a bug report through Realm Works:

1) Click on the Help Tab
2) Select "Tech Support"
3) Fill out a thorough description of the problem you're encountering

That way each bug is assigned a case number and a developer to address the problem. You can also send an email to support@wolflair.com, though the above process is the most direct method.
