Disappearing Bootstraps

I've been working on my inputting races into my HL files, when suddenly a thing that has been saving perfectly fine before suddenly is telling me it has an 'invalid unique id'. I check out the line number it is reporting in my file, and there is nothing there to indicate the error that I can tell. So I go back into HL and now it still doesn't have, but also I can't find the instances of my bootstraps on any of my creatures. ALL of the bootstraps on the offending creature have been erased from my user file. Wha?? Many of these bootstraps were standardized ones that were used on many creatures, and now all the creatures are reporting errors of missing bootstraps. This is nuts! Has anyone else had this happen?
 
Dang it, nevermind, it's disregarding my user files on me without reporting it. Or I simply missed it. I'm just getting the base stuff without the user file. Whew! Hey, I just woke up, give me some slack!
