Disabiling then adding feats

I have a template that is similar to a zombie in that the base creature loses all feats of the base creature, but because it is not mindless it gains new feats based on its base creature and template hit dice.

Disabling the base creature and previous class feats is simple enough, but how do I make sure that when a new feat is added it is not disabled as well?

Hrm. Probably you can apply the same tag that clicking "Customize?" button does. That's Hero.NoPreSel, assigned at First 25. That'll allow you to delete the old feats, and remove all the innate skills for re-assignment.

Take a closer look at how the Zombie template selects the feats it disables. It specifically excludes Toughness and weapon proficiencies. Can you modify that to specifically exclude the bonus feats you're granting, instead of toughness?

Mathias - I am actually working off the zombie template for this one. Unfortunately, because it gains feats via its hit dice the feats can be anything it meets the preqs for.

Actually Aaron's solution works exactly what I needed. :)
