Dire Tiger

I did not see if it is there, but how do I add a dire tiger to a character as a mount/companion?

Also when it says under tiger claws X2 and Rake X2 does that mean you roll it twice?

First you will need either Animal Archive or NNW - Liber Vampyr active in your configure your hero options. Then you can select it in the mounts & hirelings under Other.

Yes you roll it twice.

What does a 3PP Vampire book have to do with Dire Tigers? As the person who made NNW - Liber Vampyr I am 100% sure that it does nothing with Tigers or mounts.

Besides Animal Archive to get the "stats" you will need the license for the Bestiary 1 book.

I don't have any Bestiary licenses but I do have the Summoned Monster Creatures package and that has the Dire Tiger as well.

I am not saying it does have anything to do with Tigers or mounts, but under the COM_3PPPack_NNW - Liber Vampyr.user it is available as minNNWDRTg with the Pets tag, I assume this is why it is showing up. So why it is in this file I cannot say, but it is in there so I offered that info to the OP.
I have not read this book so I do not know if this is a bug or not. Considering the list I assume not.

That is bizarre. Looks like some did add in mounts for tigers, lions, and zombies to the vampire file. Of course this means the OP must have the community Pack installed but that would prevent the need for Animal Archive.

ok I do have animal archive and Bestiary 1, but I can not add the Dire Tiger as a mount for my Cavalier Beast rider. How would I remedy this?

Easiest way is (assuming the DM allows it at 1st level or which level you are at) pick Tiger as the mount and as you go to the Animal Companion under Classes Tab add the Dire template. You will need FGG - Tome of Horrors from the Pathfinder Pack enabled to select that template.

Keep in mind Dire Tiger is not a Animal Companion. These are two totally different things (Bestiary Rules vs Animal Companion) in the rules and in HL. So part of the confusion is intermixing the terms.

You can try what DeltaMasterMind is saying. Or you work with your DM to create the rules for how a Dire Tiger can be a animal companion. Then you can use the editor to custom make it on the Animal Companion tab.
