Does anyone know where I can get the old unupdated files of AB before
you could only go up to 500, i'm pretty sure there is a 1,000 point
version, if not, does anyone know any other programs as good as AB
that will go up to atleast 1,000, for free?

Didn't find any way to network the cd. The program for some reason
requires that the disk be local!
But, having a local image of the cd works, so any of the virtual cd
products out there that create an image of the cd and then creates a
local virtual drive of that cd allow armybuilder to run. You create
the image of armybuilder's cd then "load" it into the virtual
drive. Armybuilder now sees the cd and will run in non-demo mode.
The products for the virtual cd tend to run $35 for the product. It
doubles the price of army builder, but at least you can run it on
all your machines.

Some people I know just make multiple 500 pt
lists to make larger ones. You just have to
ignore some of the validation rules.
