hey guys
I want to have a unit that is called Optional Rules...that has
several Options. When selected, I want the selected option to be
chosen for every other unit in the list. I sthere an easy way of
doing this?

There is no way within AB to have an option within one unit cause any
direct effect within the context of any other top-level unit. Every
top-level unit is self-contained. The ONLY recourse you have is to define
validation rule that requires the user the select an option on all units,
and this would be a bit ugly (I think).
This is definitely something that is on the todo list for AB...
