Link it. Use the 'Link' tab at the far-right of ABC to do this, you have
to specify the unit name and the option name.

This saves fine, but when I go into Army Builder and create an army list,
then check the Composition report, it still says Ally (0-25%), and I do make
sure I choose the right mode. Is there somewhere else I need to choose the
scenario (Haddock Assault in your example)?
>What exactly is Cstm for?
I've created my own composition group, which I call Beasts of War. Then I
will use gmap:Cstm=BeastsWar-BoW so the person created the army list won't
see Cstm, they'll see BeastsWar

OK, now I feel really silly - never even looked at that tab. Thanks.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't find a place to set a min or
a max total point value for a whole army list. I'm doing an
augmentation file and would like the min & max to apply only when in
the mode I'm using in the augmentation file.
Is there a way to do this?

Subject: Conflict Group Problems
OK... I have created new mount options and chosen the Mnt conflict
group for them. I have also created an option for flaming ammunition
that is not available to mounted troups, so I put that option in the
conflict group Mnt to make it unavailable if a unit has chosen a
mount option.
The flaming ammunition option becomes available if a unit choses a
bow, longbow or shortbow. So...
This works: If the BOW is chosen first (the flaming option appears,
but if a mount is then chosen, it becomes unavailable)
This doesn't work: If the MOUNT is chosen first (then when the bow
is chosen, the flaming option still appears)
Is there any way to fix this?

You also need to define the mode like:
mode
gc="Haddock Assault"-rules="Haddock Assault"
Does that help?

Yes, I've done an augment on longbow, shortbow, normbow, etc. options which
are normally available through the .wfb files.

It's easier than trying to make sure that no one breaks the rules and puts
in an extra 50 points of troops, or doesn't make a big enough banner. I can
do it by hand if I need to, but I'd rather check as few things by hand as
possible, which is the great thing of Army Builder! <g>

I don't think there is, I'm afraid.

It might be a problem with more: not liking conflict groups, then. Try
temporarily linking the flaming ammo option to a unit, and just show:ing
it; does that give a different result?

Link it. Use the 'Link' tab at the far-right of ABC to do this, you have
to specify the unit name and the option name.

OK... I have created new mount options and chosen the Mnt conflict
group for them. I have also created an option for flaming ammunition
that is not available to mounted troups, so I put that option in the
conflict group Mnt to make it unavailable if a unit has chosen a

The flaming ammunition option becomes available if a unit choses a
bow, longbow or shortbow. So...
This works: If the BOW is chosen first (the flaming option appears,
but if a mount is then chosen, it becomes unavailable)
This doesn't work: If the MOUNT is chosen first (then when the bow
is chosen, the flaming option still appears)
Is there any way to fix this?

You also need to define the mode like:

Does that help?

Yes, I've done an augment on longbow, shortbow, normbow, etc. options which
are normally available through the .wfb files.

It's easier than trying to make sure that no one breaks the rules and puts
in an extra 50 points of troops, or doesn't make a big enough banner. I can
do it by hand if I need to, but I'd rather check as few things by hand as
possible, which is the great thing of Army Builder! <g>

That's what was missing... it works now! Thank you so much!

I don't think there is, I'm afraid.

It might be a problem with more: not liking conflict groups, then. Try
temporarily linking the flaming ammo option to a unit, and just show:ing
it; does that give a different result?
