Subject: Downlading datafiles
I have just downloaded and registered Army Builder, but I am having
some problems downloading the datafiles. Bear in mind I am pretty
new to this and I know the problem is my lack of knowledge. Once i
have the file downloaded I unzip it and the individual parts show up
as .40k instead of .ab, so I do not know how to finish the process
from here. Any help that anyone can offer me will be greatly
appreciated. Thanks

If you go to the directory where you installed AB there should be a folder
caled data, simply place the files in there and it will work.

Don't unzip the datafiles. Just import the .ZIP file and everything will
load fine.

Don't unzip it... just import it into AB with the 'Import Files' option.
Check the help menus for more detail.

Augmentation:
Race=bs
Attributes: xbrk:"Campaign"="Lord@?,Ret@?,Ally@0"-mode=pgc
I get a "data field invalid" error. So I changed the Ally@0 to
Ally@0-0 and it saved fine, but didn't make a difference when I tried
to set up an army list for the Beastmen (race bs) - it still allowed
Allies. I also need to add the Cstm composition group at 0-25, and
it doesn't seem to want to put it into effect.
Is there someplace that I'm missing where the user chooses not only
the mode (pgc), but also a scenario (Campaign)?
Thanks for all your help - I'm actually really close now, just need
to spend lots of time (to add the debmounts option to every character
from every race - thanks for that idea, btw, it saves so much not to
have to type like 10 mounts each time!) doing the tedious stuff.
Well, once I figure out this composition rule stuff! Need to change
Ally to 0, add Cstm@0-25, and make Mach 0-25 for all races, and I'll
be set.
