if you want, i can send you my version. it has several changes in it...
some of which you mentioned. last i heard, there was a bfg fan by the
name of joe that was maintaining the files. i contacted him once, sent
one of my files that i had changed with a list of a couple of other
changes that i just do not know how to do. if you want, you can use
mine until he gets them done. just tell me where & how to send them.
later. eric bloodax.

Show me where it says Harlequin vehicles get WS5 instead of 3, and I'll put
it in. Remember that you'd need to increase the cost of CC weapons if you
increase their WS.

Very unlikely, I'll take a look.

Subject: Units from a pervious version of AB

I have just updated my AB files to the latest 40k files from April.
I know that previous army lists will not show up correctly until
resaved in the new format. However, I can't find a way to refresh
individual saved units. I have created several units in the last
version and find that even when I re-add the unit to the new list, it
is not registered for validation purposes.

For instance, my chaos lord is a unit I saved in an earlier version.
I have resaved the army lists that he is a part of. However the army
no longer conforms to the validation rules. I get an error
saying 'An Emperor's Children army must be lead'...etc. If I delete
my lord, and create him from scratch there are no problems.

Is there a way to update individual units to the new version without
re-creating them, copying the descriptions and re-saving?

Thanks for any assistance.

Craig

I am just going off the crew men for a vehicle. Currently it is an
eldar crewmen, but why would they be in a harlequin army? The
crewmen for a harlequin vehicle should be a harlequin who's basic WS
is 5. I realize it would cost more points but it would fit in better
with the army versus just a regular eldar guardian.

I have been writing GW rulesboys for clarification,
but as of yet, ALL Eldar vehicles will be designed
using standard Guardian stats. I've been curious of
this myself.
It's rumored that GW will be releasing another update
on VDR just like they did for Nids.
This one is supposedly another expansion with more
weapons and options.
But its only rumor for now.

Besides, from a fluff point of view. The Harlequins
would not suffer themselves to pilot a vehicle
considering their own abilities. For an example look
at the BS for the Venom. It is only a 3.
