Why does a Ranged and Massive <shooty weapon> counts as two slots? I am currently at work, so I don't have WD255 with me, but I don't remember anything in the article saying, that you can't combine the ranged and massive features with a <shooty weapon>. Following your logic, a massive spinefist is two slots in it self. As I remember the article you could construct a monstrosity weapon that has all the available features (Massive, Ranged, Cluster and Spasm) - all at once and only counting as being one weapon. Abusive - yes, but legal (and expensive).

Please forgive the alliteration, but I couldn't resist.

When I make a chaos terminator squad a cult squad, I have the option
to make them troop choices. I don't think this is correct, although I
would love to have a Chaoswing army (a.k.a. the Chaos Deathwing), I
think folks would be irritated.

Thanks

Greetings,
Was wondering if it would be realistic to be able to modify the 40K files, so that the point costs for weapons and stuff for characters is reflected in the 'Equipment
Summary' statistics.

Example :

Archon with hellmask and agonizer shows this:

HQ @ 85 points
Equipment Summary @ 5 points

When actually the equipment summary should be 25 points (agonizer and hellmask are both bought from the wargear page).

Hope I am explaining this right.

Thanks for all the hard work,
Paul

Subject: Composition Rule Set

Greetings Again,
Two posts in one night....wow....i'm running rampent!!!

Was wondering if it might be possiable in a future release to make it so that you can change the composition rule set without having to rebuild the whole roster.

Example:
I build an army with a Standard Force Org Comp Set

I want to apply it to a Breakout Mission with a New Comp Set.

Would be nice to be able to check the new Comp Setting and see how it fits.

Thanks,
Paul

In the GW FAQ they state that, "Basically you get to use the stats
(apart from save) and special rules for the cult Marines (Berzerkers
etc), with the saves, equipment and upgrades of the Terminators."

This includes the ability for cult termies to be used as troops (it's
mentioned specifically). So go ahead and make that Chaoswing, and
post some pics when you're done.
