Gotcha!

I guess it's not very evident, since the triangles aren't marked, and can be
forgotten as decorative sometimes. :)

This has been present since V1.0. :-)

Bring up the filter form. Select the group for which you want to exclude
certain tags. Above the tags in the right column, click on the triangle
button (just like an info window button). A menu appears from which you can
specify to exclude select tags. Then pick the tags that you want to exclude
and click OK.

You can combine excluded tags for one tag group and included tags for other
groups if you wish. More details will be found in the manual and via the
Help button at the bottom of the filter form.

It's a juggling act between making something visible enough, but not making
it TOO visible so it detracts from the interface. For something that most
users won't utilize often, we didn't want it to be glaring. Maybe we erred
on the side of too inconspicuous.

What does everyone think? Should we make the exclusion mechanism more
prominent? If so, how would you prefer we do it? Or is it OK the way it
currently is? Please weigh in on this if you have a strong opinion.

Thanks, Rob

It's fine for me. I have not had trouble remembering it, and that is saying
something for a man with a mind like swiss cheese these days!
