Subject: Battletech Units

Hello, folks.

I'm new to Army Builder, but not to building armies.
I've been playing BattleTech almost as long as it's
been around and setting up armies and keeping track of
points was one of the biggest hassles. So, I'm really
glad I've found this software.

The one difficulty I have, though, is that while I
want to give the AB software a chance to take the
drudgery out of my Roster paperwork, I don't look
forward to having to input the information for every
mech I could EVER want to use in an army into the
program. I use BattleMech Designer 9.7 for creating my
mechs and printing out my 'mech sheets for play. I
don't have any need to input all the technical data
into anything anymore, unless I'm building a
completely new design (which I am quite fond of).

Is there anywhere I can turn for help? Has anybody
already broken down and entered all of the published
mech data into Unit files? Or should I just stick with
the methods I know and loathe?

Thanks for giving me a glimmer of hope,
Bill R.

Does anyone have any idea where the latest DBM AB files are posted?

Rob's got the latest stuff I did... I haven't had any time to touch them
since then.

Thanks Eric, I had the old DBM files that you made but I upgraded
computers and had to install the files again on here. Are there any
new additional armies since July of 99? I made a few myself and need
to transfer them from the old computer.
