I have uploaded the set of files to the ABFiles for the Warhammer 6th
edition that Dave Gilbert and I have constructed. These follow the
UK Ravening Hordes and currently includes the Empire Army Book list
(and the RH Empire List). The Empire File does not yet incorporate
the alternate army lists.

These army builder files (which I had posted a previous version (2.0) to Direwolf_wh) track with the UK RH edition which has some changes from the US version (skirmishers don't get standards, musicians, champions and a few other minor changes). In addition, these files are the set of files that Dave and I will update with the new army book lists as they come out.
As for the last line, at the back of the Empire Book they have alternate army lists that assign different composition groups to each of the units (including not allowing some units). For example, they have a Nuln Army list in the back that makes cannons, mortars, and hellblasters common but gets mostly rid of knights and such. What we will do is set up scenarios in the army files which allow you to pick which army you wish to create when you select the race. The default will be the official army list in the book but you will be able to make the alternate lists too.

A few things I've noticed: any character can get an iron halo (which
is an independent-char only piece of wargear, IIRC). I think there
was something else that should have been independent char only, and
wasn't, but I don't recall right now.
Space marine units that can get a Land Raider may not choose to have
a LRCrusader instead (unless I'm misinterpreting C:Arm. I see any non-
BTemplar army as being able to take 1 (and only 1) LRCru in place of
*any* LR normall allowed. IE, a Terminator squad or command squad
shoul dbe able to take their allowed LR Transport as a LRCrusader...)
Oh, yeah, and Grey Knights don't reflect the new 5+ invulnerable save
for terminator armor
Sorry to nit-pick, and thanks for all the great work!

Sorry everybody but it seems that there is a saving error with the armybuilder files I put out (warhammer2-1.ab)...I am going to look into it and replace the files in the files directory (which I have now deleted). Sorry for the frustration. It looks like it is my problem and not with Armybuilder so you need not flood Rob with emails.

Yes. Create a normal Sentinel Squadron, click "Command Squadron" or
whatever the option is, and they no longer count as Fast Attack.
Consider them attached.

The reason it doesn't show is because neither modifier applies all the
time. If True Grit let you *always* use a Bolter as an additional CCW,
it would be shown. If you *always* got +1 attack, it would be shown.
Saying "Well, those two combine to always give +1A so let's just show it
that way" is, IMAO, getting a bit confusing.

Subject: Re: RE: Armybuilder 2.0b files for Warhammer 6th edition (UKRH + Army Books)

I am confused (what's new?)...What does the last sentence mean? What
alternate lists?

Army Books)
I have uploaded the set of files to the ABFiles for the Warhammer 6th
edition that Dave Gilbert and I have constructed. These follow the
UK Ravening Hordes and currently includes the Empire Army Book list
(and the RH Empire List). The Empire File does not yet incorporate
the alternate army lists.

It looks like it is my problem and not with Armybuilder so you need not flood Rob with emails.

twin linked heavy bolters on EACH sponson, and no other weapons, but
it does have some extra sensory equipment, I was wondering if
anyone else had allready created such a file, or if not, could they
help me to do it?
Thanks in advance,

I've got them about half done... they should be along soon. So much to

Would you mind sending a mail to ab-files and putting them up there
yourself? If you could keep them updated and ab-files informed, it would
be a help. Ta

I checked ab-files group files and couldn't find it. Perhaps its
there but the file name is too close to one I've already downloaded?
