Subject: Army Builder 2 Features?
Just wondering if you plan to have a feature where you can have a
data set of models you own and can compare what you are building
against it.
Perhaps a "Limit to Figures" toggle, where if selected as you build
you can not take more than you own. And when unselected, the
warning/status area tells you how many of which kind of figures you
are short (there may be other uses, but at the very least this can
help everyone plan their figure purchases).
It might be possible to incorporate this as a WYSIWYG version and
a "loose" version. I know we are pretty relaxed on how figures are
modeled when you equip a group identically (so you can have a very
cool looking squad weidling all sorts of nasty bits while in fact
they are just armed with CC & BP for example).
Might take a bit of doing as far as how you would compare a marine
sgt with power sword and bolter to choices of marine/marine
sgt/marine hero as the fig could be used for any of them. Perhaps
just providing the editor and letting users specify how they want
their own figures classified.
Hmm, big brain dump, sorry bout that, hate being an "idea man" but
I'd really like to see these types of features in the new version,
and would be happy to pay a premium for them (perhaps Army Builder 2
Pro
Anyway, may your courage overwhelm your weaponry, and your weapons
overwhelm your foes!

I'm definitely planning on creating a "companion tool" for Army Builder
with exactly this type of functionality. However, none of this will be in
V2.0. :-( Once V2.0 goes out, though, I plan to start working on this new
project, so hopefully you'll see it in the not-too-distant future.
Thanks, Rob
