Differentiate between public and private relationships

Could the icons for private relationships be changed to square smiley faces? It's impossible to tell which relationships are "real" vs what is seen by others.
 
+1 and hopefully an easy (spare time) project. The non-programmer part of me figures it would be quick since would just involve a box being added.
