Is there a way to print a character using a different character sheet? Specifically, I'm looking for one that includes the full description of all abilities for a newbie player.

There is a way to have it run an exe file with an undocumented file. They plan on later standardizing the format and documenting it.

Search for "dll" and you will find a recent thread with more info.
