Until HL came out with D&D 5e SRD I'd been using ForgedAnvil's magnificent Excel 5e Character sheet. But, as good as it is, it doesn't support custom classes and is limited on the number of custom spells it supports.
Also, it's is password protected so you can't do much to modify it. Once HL came out with 5e SRD and I could add custom material myself, I went hog wild. I intended to add materials I needed as I needed them. The the community went hog wild right along with me. You know what they say about 1,000 moneys with keyboards . . . ? Well picture what happened with fanatical DM's, with computers who just got the core of the heart's desires . . . who go hog wild . . .
