Deadlands Noir Character is Erroring out..

I was making a Deadlands SavageWorlds Character with the Deadlands Noir option. I was done spending points,, I had just attempted to add a gun under the Armory Tab.. when it failed. It has done it three times. I can not finish a character with a weapon.. Please assist..

As an update, I tried again three more times on my other PC with my second license and it continued to give the same message..
 
Which gun were you adding? And can you upload a copy of your portfolio?

I just put together a quick portfolio of my own with just DLNoir and Companion selected and I was able to add every gun in the list to the portfolio without it crashing. You might also try re-downloading the latest Hero Lab update and then the latest Savage Worlds update again to see if that clears it up, too.

Thanks for looking, I will do it again and save if before I attempt to add a gun to the character.

I guess it is just wierd that it happened on two completely seperate PCs..

I will get you that update as soon as I can get to my laptop, I am at work at the moment..

I won't be back near a computer until maybe tonight, but you may want to email that to LoneWolf. I don't think it's the data file for Noir but if they find it is I can probably fix it tonight.

I do not know if it helps, but I just tried creating a character, saving it, and then adding a gun and it works.. But I try to add it prior to saving it, it continues to error..

It seems to be a work around, but still would be nice to fix.. hehe
 
This is a nasty bug that we've been trying to localize for some time. Zaeriak, I just replied to your technical support query asking for some extra information - if you can get back to me with that, I can look into this further.

Just in case it sparks an idea..

I just received the exact same issue with Hindrances..

One every case it seems that it Errors,, unless you Save the character, and then load it back and then it seems to work fine..
