I have been searching the forums for this but have been unable to find a solution.

What I am wondering is, is there a way to set an alternative data file location when installing HL? My C drive is a very small solid state drive that I use primarily for the OS and I like to keep everything else on other drives.

When installing hero lab, it gives me the option of changing the program install location (Which is currently G:\Programs\Hero Lab), but not the data file location. Is there a reason that these files cannot be installed to another location? If not, could they simply be moved post install?
 
Check the "Miscellaneous Details" section of the User Manual - you can do this by changing the program data root, as described there.
