Hi guys, sorry if this is a dump question but I just downloaded hero lab and I'm completely lost.

I want to make a goliath playable character but the only thing I can see for customization is to add an NPC monster. Could someone guide me through this?
 
HeroLab is just the SRD version (free). To get the extra materials, you need to install the 5E Community Pack.

Once you have installed it, you'll need to go to the Character tab > Configure Hero and select the options you want to include. If you plan to use certain options all the time, then click on Set Defaults once you have selected your chossen options.
