Custom animal companion rules

I've been granted a special animal companion (half-celestial wolf) for my Ranger/Zen Archer character. I can get the template on the animal fine. However we have a house rule that whenever I take a level in Ranger, the wolf gets a level in Ranger. Otherwise it's just the usual additional HD.

Is there a way to mod this into HeroLab? If I add the Ranger levels, it does it in addition to the Additional HD levels, and won't let me delete those.
 
Unfortunately, the way that animal companions advance is part of the program which users can't modify. You may be able to add adjustments to effectively remove the effects of the automatic HD, I suppose.
