CTD when printing/exporting to pdf

Can someone please help me? I've tried emailing support but with no answer for 3 weeks I think they've forgotten about me.

In short, when I try to export to pdf Hero Lab freezes up and then crashes to desktop. Every single time no matter what system I use. This even extends to using third party programs like Acrobat Distiller or CutePDF.

In fact, the program flat out crashes if I attempt to export to ANYTHING.

Stuff I've already tried:
Restarting the computer.
Uninstalling and reinstalling Hero Lab
Uninstalling and reinstalling the pdf plugin
Uninstalling the pdf plugin and then use Acrobat Distiller
Uninstalling the pdf plugin and using CuteFTP
Running Hero Lab in various forms of compatibility mode.
Running Hero Lab as an administrator.

I'm at the end of my rope here. I could really use some help. Can anyone help me, please?!

Hey there! We received the email that you sent to support today. We usually have a two business day response time, so you will definitely hear back soon! Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Additionally, I checked for the email you sent three weeks ago and could not find anything. Did you receive a tech support case number and, if so, what was that number? I can also look up by your email address (there is nothing under the email address associated with your forum username). We want to make sure that our support email system is functioning correctly.

Nope, never got a tech support number back.

What's weirder is that I didn't send one yesterday. Maybe I saved it to drafts instead of hitting send? It's entirely possible I goofed up on my end.

Well, we have the email now and it has been forwarded to the correct person, which is what matters. You should hear back from them regarding your situation. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks. In the past you guys have been pretty good about responding in a timely fashion, so I think I might chalk this up to some mistake on my end. Makes more sense to me given past experience.
