Creature companions?

I can't seem to find a way to buy a creature companion within Hero Lab. I do have the Alien Archive 3 expansion. Is there a way to do this that I'm missing?
 
Hello,

You should find that the functions for the Creature Companions are working within the system now and you can find the purchase listing for them in the Gear > Other Gear Table.

Once added, you should be able to access the Companion Character panel much like a Drone in the same manner, via clicking the Characters button in the top-right side of the UI.
 
How are we able to create custom creature companions, per the instructions and guidance available in AA3? I'm only seeing the preset list.
