You'll need to coordinate with the data file author for a proper solution.
Only the official author can incorporate changes into the files that are
actually released. However, it should be easy for you to add your own
category to the definition on your computer for testing. This will allow
you to get everything working, then you can give the author your completed
Wood Elf file and have him make the necessary change to the definition file
to add the new category.
