Count amount of options in one unit without tags

Hello there is anyway to count the number of times one unit has equipped a specific OPTION, without using tags? Or some way to create automatically tag when the option is created to certain options (similar to what can be done with Units and Items)?

I have achieved to do what I want with tags, but it will take me a quite amount of time to create all the tags I need and I looking for A faster and optimized way.
