Converting Faction Prestige to Gold?

I have not found a way to convert my Pathfinder Society faction Prestige points to gold, in order to buy items.

I have tried 'custom cost,' but it only allows entering X amount of gold as the sale price.

Anyone out there figured out to do this? Or is it even part of the application?

In the journal, I can earn the Prestige points, but the gold is earned in the top section, along with experience points.

Prestige points can be 'cashed-in' to buy items, at the rate of 750 gold, per 2 prestige points. In HL, I do not see a way to cash in these points, use them directly to buy items, or convert them to gold.

Sure, I can just spend the gold, like I have it, but then my prestige point total does not change.
 
I don't think it's correct to convert the prestige into gold and then spend it, because if your purchase isn't exactly 375 or 750, you don't get to keep the change - you just get the item.

What I do for my characters is to buy the item with the "Buy for Free" checkbox, and then on the journal, spend the correct amount of prestige.
