Complicated Alchemist problem: re-creating bomb damage for a weapon.

Hello legendary programmers!

I'm working on some archetypes for kobold press, and could really use some help one a super complicated problem.

I wish to create a weapon called a clockwork bomb. It will do slashing damage, and do damage equal to that of a regular alchemist (1d6+ int bonus per 1+level/2).

I hope someone can please help me to create an eval script that can do this for the weapon (My programming is very basic, and the actual bomb seems to connect to some other script or program I cannot find to do this). If you can help me with this, I will happy to give you a shout-out online when the files get published, and I would be really greatful. This problem with the clockwork bomb is what is keeping me from being able to publish these files.

So, I need a script for the weapon that will change the damage of the weapon to scale with the characters level in clockwork alchemist, arODclalch. I just don't know where to begin. I've put hours into it, and look for weapon examples, but there is nothing there. Please help!
