Comet of Cassandora spell description bug

Although the unit details description of Comet is the updated one (i.e. 11+ to cast, Str 4) the roster still shows a casting value of 10+.

To replicate:

Create new lizardman roster
add a skink priest
check Add All Spells
Click on the Comet of Cassandora entry on the roster and compare the Unit Details window (top right) with the roster entry clicked on.

Also tried this with an Empire roster - same problem.

I don't have my book in front of me but this might be the original rules...Might there be a way to also include the optional updated rules for Lores of Heaven, Life and Beast? although they are technically optional most RTTs, GTs and the like use them...

Hmmm. The current AB3 file is a mix of old and new rules. In the original rulebook:

Second Sign is cast on 5+
Forked Lightning and Uranon's Thunderbolt have unlimited range
Comet is cast on 10+ and does 2d6 Str 5 hits.

In the updated list:

Second Sign is cast on 6+
Forked Lightning and Uranon's Thunderbolt have 24" range
Comet is cast on 11+ and does 2d6 Str 4 hits.

The current datafile uses the new Second Sign, the old Forked Lightning/Thunderbolt and a mix old and new comet, depending on whether you look at the roster entry or the unit details.

My view is that AB should reflect the new spell lists as they are the ones accepted in tournaments (and by every Warhammer player I've fought against recently). Plus the release notes for the latest AB3 datafile says it is using the new spell lists... :D

At the same time there are actually leagues and whatnot that choose to use old style Lores of magic...I liked the nots in AB2 which allowed you to use either...

However whichyever rules are being used it should remain consistant...
