I went to the Wolf Lair website, under Card Vault, Support, Tips.
It says all you need to do is copy the starter.dat from the marvel
sub-directory to the dc subdirectory. I did that, and still when I
select the DC Heroclix from the game system, no marvel clix appear.
I made sure that the "in inventory" was turned off. Any suggestions?

OK, I think I figured out the problem. If you have loaded the DC files
before copying the Marvel "starter.dat" file into place, Card Vault has
already compiled the files and the Marvel file is older. So Card Vault
doesn't recompile the files again. Go into the "hcdc" folder and delete the
file named "data.cvz". Deleting this one file will force Card Vault to
recompile the data files when you next load them, at which point the Marvel
characters should appear properly.

Sorry for the confusion on that. I'll go update the website.

Thanks, Rob

Rob,

Okay, I did that and it worked. Noticed one problem though. Seems
the D.C. factions take precedece over the Marvel ones. All the
Marvel heroes which should be Avengers are coming up as Injustice
League. [as well as other ones]

This is likely normal behavior. Depending on the order of precedence of the
releases, the DC release could be newer, and so will be considered the "Most
Recent Printing" of the figure. Just turn off Settings/"Merge Duplicate Cards"
and that should stop. You will then see both versions.

Ooops. That's an oversight. I just got it fixed. There is now a V1.1 update
to the Hypertime files that eliminate the conflict between the two sets of
files.

Thanks, Rob

Unfortunately, this one doesn't happen to be "normal" behavior. It's not a
matter of models being duplicated and collapsed. It's a problem with unique
ideas for tags being duplicated between the two sets of data files, so
merging them doesn't keep them separate. It should now be fixed with the
V1.1 data files...

Thanks, Rob
