Cloud Storage for iPad

The latest version of HL for iPad allows to use Dropbox for sharing of Portfolios. Is there any chance to replace Dropbox with my own private cloud storage?
 
Each cloud storage solution requires coding up access via the API that is specific to that cloud storage solution. (I'm guessing that Apple haven't developed a "standard API" which would work regardless of the specific cloud.)
