Checking on legality-ness

Or something like that...

I'm going to be running Savage Tide for one subset of my gaming group. Since that was published in Dungeon, I'm guessing that sharing the hero lab files for that would be a no-no, correct?

Add-on: And I am waiting with held breath for the Ultimate Magic release, or part of it.... since I'm pretty sure one of my player is going to jump whole hog onto the magus (spellblade)

Selling the hero lb file would be a no no, but if you give it sway that should be fine. but to be sure you should check the license agreement with the RPG you bought, i. e. savage Tide.

its really no different from the user created content for the 3.5 system that we have made available.

IDK, I had a MCWoD dataset I made up for my group, but I didn't think it could be posted. I did ask if would have been ok, with leaving out discriptions and just put a page number, but I never got a straight answer.

It all depends on how a company delas with their licenses. I still have some questions about the 3.5 material we have posted. I am hoping to ask some questions of Wizards at Gen Con this year. I doubt i'll get anything concrete though.

I was more worried about giving it to Shadow for posting on the d20pfsrd, because I wouldn't want anyone to get in trouble. ~ esp since it's WotC ip

If you get a straight answer (or a clearish crooked one) please let us know. :)
