I may be mistaken but...

It would appear that Chaos Sorcerors, including Exalted Champions
upgraded to said status, may not select psychic powers- i.e. No
Fleshy Curse, Doom Bolt, Stream of Corruption, or Flames of
Tzeentch...

Hello Red,
Make sure that you are selecting their mark of Chaos before selecting a
power. I am using v2 alpha 3 pattern and have no problems. Hope this
helps.

Are you selecting a "mark" for your sorcerer? You need to select "Mark of
Tzeentch" to be able to take Flames of Tzeentch, or "Mark of Nurgle" for
Stream of Corruption. I'm not sure if this is codex correct, but this is
what you have to do using the AlphaIII files.

Are you pulling down the "wargear" menu as selecting "sorcerous gifts"?

You need to actually take a Mark of Chaos before you're allowed to chose
psychic powers.
