Chaos Icons in newest AB file?

Are they still there? I can't find them. I click the option to turn
an Aspiring Chump into an Icon Bearer, but never any choices (or
points paid) for any icons themselves.

Am I missing something?

Yes, you have to give him a mark, hit the star for wargear ("select
wargear for unit") and then go to 'Item Category' and drop it down to
Chaos Icons. The appropriate banner will appear.
