Changes to Editor in latest version?

Has there been an intentional change to the editor in the latest version of HL? I'm asking because since the last update, I'm finding a major difference.

When I create a new race using the editor, I always have a "dummy" version of an actual character sitting in another window so I can quickly check on changes. When I click "Test" in the editor, it thinks for a bit, then warns me that it has to update the open character, I click "OK" (I think it's "OK", or maybe "Yes") and it updates the character: adds Specials, etc.

Since the last update, I'm not getting that option. I click "Test", and it tells me the race is ready to use, but doesn't attempt to update the open character. I have to close the character and reopen it manually to see the changes.

Is there a new option or something that I need to switch on, or is this an unforseen issue?

I have done allot with races and classes recently and what you mention with re-adding the race or class again to the hero works fine for me.

Your sure the race you have on the character is really the race your working with in the editor? Remember if you changed the Unique ID on the race after you had it added to your character then its NOT the same race at that point.

Also if working with lots of bootstraps and especially bootstrap conditions Test Now! does not really work. You need to be doing "CTRL-R" instead to make things work correctly.....
