Change point buy completely.

I have combed through the forums and I have found several ways to adjust the initial points available when buying stats. Those articles touched on a few helpful things. However, they never completely answered the question that drives me Neo.

I want to use a custom point buy, how do i do that?

By "custom" i mean exactly that. Every thing is different.

Initial points: 66

In the general grouping, look at the mechanics tab. Use the New (Copy) button to copy "Attribute Cost Mechanics". Then look at the "Attribute Cost Table" there.

So you want to create a new mechanic that's a copy of that one, and then use the "Overrides..." option to select what it overrides (which will be the "Attribute Cost Mechanics").

Then, on the Creation Method tab is where you can add new character creation options, like 66 points.

IIRC, there's also a table in that mechanic where you set the cost of each individual point.
