Cant get an internet connection to download updates????

Also every time i try to activate my license an error message pops up and says there is no revocation certificate. I imported the certificate into my security settings, but that didnt work.

Can someone help me out??

We had someone else encounter this problem recently. To fix it, he did the following:

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Go to 'Tools -> Internet Options'
3. Click the 'Connections' tab.
4. There should be a button labeled 'LAN Settings' near the bottom. Click it.
5. Under the 'Proxy Server' field, uncheck 'Use a proxy server for your LAN'

After that, everything worked properly for him. Hope this helps!

I'm having the exact same problem. Armybuilder activated online without any problems but refuses to connect to the update server. I've checked the settings suggested, but they were fine. I'm using Windows 7 x64, but the updates worked in the past flawlessly. I've added an exemption to the windows firewall to no avail.

Any suggestions?

The internet diagnostics check gives the following:
Warning! A potential problem was found with your internet connection. Right-click this message and choose "Copy to Clipboard", then paste this information into an email to support@wolflair.com.

Retrieval from wolflair.com succeeded.

Internet_Retrieve_URL failed: product could not access the internet! please verify that you can load web sites in your web browser, and that your firewall or antivirus software is not blocking the product - ERR_CORE_INTERNET_URL_ACCESS (0x40010273)

None of my other programs have any trouble getting online.

Visiting in Firefox loads correctly.

Visiting in Internet Explorer brings up a message stating that some elements won't be loaded securely and asks if I want to load them. If I do, it loads the whole page fine. If I don't, I get the page minus any images. Otherwise there are no issues.

When you get the message in Internet Explorer, is there a "don't show this again" option? If so, check it, then close and re-open AB and see if the problem persists.

Also, can you confirm that you managed to license AB without a problem, but can't see the list of updates? That's very strange, since they live on the exact same server...

Unfortunately there isn't that option, I have to answer every time.
AB is as far as I can tell licensed properly. The license Info window has me getting free updates until May 2011, which is about right.
