Card Vault V1.4 Released!!!

The new V1.4 release of Card Vault has now been released! Users can
download it via the Updates mechanism within Card Vault, or you can
download it from our website at www.wolflair.com.

This new release adds a bunch of features that users have been asking for.
It also includes some additional features we came up with and thought you'd
all like. I could list everything here, but it's easiest just to install
the new update and take a look at the "What's New" list and/or the readme file.

Have fun with the new version and let us know what you think about it!!!

I would say congradulations, if the new version worked! I installed
it properly, but, whenever I try to start the program, it returns me
an error message.
So, I'll continue using Version 1.3, until I see (or until you tell
me) what may be wrong...

What error message do you get? Exactly when does it appear? (You should be
able to right-click on the message, copy it to the clipboard, then paste it
into an email.) Please let us know, so we can sort this out.

It's the Windows XP error window, and it appears whenever I double-
click the executable, or the shortcut of the program.
The error's signature is:
AppName: cardva~1.exe
AppVer: 0.0.0.0
ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.1106
Offset: 000255e9

There's also an xml (I think) file related to this,
called "appcompat.txt", which Windows includes in the error report
sent to Microsoft. Give me an e-mail address, and I'll send it to
you.

Please send it to colen@wolflair.com (that's colen at wolflair dot com, if
yahoogroups mangles it).

switch game systems screen appears, when you load a game?

And finally, is anyone else having this problem?

It worked fine for me using the update mechanism & installing on Win 98.


My thoughts, you may want to try this:

Judging from "it appears whenever I double-
click the executable, or the shortcut of the program" it sounds like you downloaded it seperately. Try deleting that .exe & download the update via the update mechanism if you indeed did that before, try using the alternate download.

Do you have a licensed copy of CV with a working update mechanism?

CV 1,4 is running fine (so far) on my Laptop with XP. But, when I ran
the installs (both CV and CVKit), they both locked up when they tried to
exit after installation.
