This may sound wacky, but has anyone come up with an EASY way to
export a cardlist from Magic Online and import it into Cardvault?

That would prob be up to the datafile author.

For the magic files, I also want a way to import and export Magic Suitcase inventory files. I still don't use CV for MTG because of the horrific amount of time that would be involved in entering ALL those cards AGAIN. I've asked about this before, but I never hear anything back from the MTG datafile author...

--Now of course I know about batch editing and all, but that doesn't help in my situation.

Such a facility is, you'll be happy to hear, already available. :)

Load up the magic files, take a look at the FAQ (under the Help menu) and
check out the 'Integration with Magic Online' item. That should contain all
the instructions you need.

I'm pretty sure Magic Suitcase integration is planned for some point in the
future, but I couldn't exactly say when.

I know Robert (the Magic author) has talked about doing it, but I know he
hasn't tackled it yet. I have no idea how much work is involved, so I don't
know whether it's something that would require a day's work or a week's
work. Also, Robert is the author of data files for multiple game systems,
so he's spread rather thin. I'm sure if you were to write the extension,
he'd be happy to incorporate it into the next release. :-)

Robert is really bad about email. I know that he uses a white list, so he
may not even see all the emails that actually get sent to him. He's an old
friend of mine, so I usually end up talking to him on the phone every few
months, which is when I usually find out what he's got planned.
