Can't sync Realm with cloud

The only time RW has left me "dead in the water" is about a month ago. I started RW on game night, only to get an error saying that it wouldn't launch until it could contact the server. Sadly, the hosts don't have internet yet at their new house so I was up the proverbial creek. But I managed to wing it with the information I had available from other sources and a bit of improvisation. Wasn't my best gaming session by far, but I've also had worse.

My solution to this is to switch off wi-fi, then reboot the laptop. Then RW will start. (Switching off wi-fi and then starting RW without rebooting isn't enough, you have to reboot before starting RW.)

Sync problem seems to come and go

I have a similar problem, put in data, then try and sync, and get a Sanity failure, wait 30 minutes try again, and I get a finish sync successful, but I am truly wondering if it actually is or if it is just playing with me.

Go through and add some more stuff in, Sync failure again.

Ticket lodged with RW Support, hope we get an answer soon as to the cause, as I have a gaming session on Monday (Australia time) and *shudders* would hate to have to resort to the old paper based adventure.

@Happydevil43: If something goes sideways with syncing, please see my post up-thread about using backup and restore to achieve the same net result for moving your content between a dev machine and a laptop to talk to your game. :)

Sync problem seems to come and go

Thanks Rob, that has got the session laptop up and running.

The master is still a bit hit and miss, one time I sync it fails, the next it succeeds...

We'll have to figure that out. The important thing is to ensure you know how to work around any sync issues that might arise before we can do that. :)
