Can't install V12.12 on iPad

I download the update, and when it begins the update, I get the error:

This file could not be imported because: Newer version of HeroLab required! Make sure you're using the latest version of the product.

Which is exactly what I'm trying to do...
Can someone help me out of this Catch 22?

The issue is the Hero Lab software has "two" different sides the "binary" program (ie the iPad App or the .exe for Windows). Then "other" side is the game system (ie Pathfinder).

You are trying to install the Pathfinder game system and its telling you that you need a new version of the iPad App. Go to the app store on your iPad and download the latest version of the HL app. Then you will be able to go into the HL app and download the Pathfinder update.
