Can't find the new tab-system

Hi,

I was in the BETA to try out the new system with the tabs and what-not. I installed the correct BETA-version of HL and the data package etc. but the new tabs never showed up.

What I was expecting was this but what I got was this. Now, I tried to get some help via the support about this but the holidays had other plans for me.

They finished the BETA and rolled out the live version I updated to Version 8.5 of the Pathfinder files for Hero Lab where the tabs should have been available (and probably for all I know is to everyone else) but I still can't see them and I was wondering if there was a setting somewhere that I miss.

I've made sure to install the "Hero Lab for Windows (V4.3)" update which specifically says it contains the "editor tab groups". But despite that, all I get is the same old interface that i've always had.

Anyways, I'd really like to get this working. So if anyone can help me with this, it'd be greatly appreciated. Maybe I need to reinstall everything? Maybe something FUBAR'd during the change to the BETA, i don't know.

The screenshots you've included of what things should look like have not been screenshots of the editor. What does your editor look like?
 
Tools menu...Launch Editor is how you get to the editor. Then, File...New Data File to open a new file and see the new arrangement of editor tabs.
 
Well, i'll just go ahead and revoke my own gamer-license. I was under the impression that the "editor" was where you created the character.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. I'm such a njub :)
