Can't add Witch spells above 0th level.

I'm trying to create a Halfling Witch and everything's going well except for adding spells. On the Witch tab, I can click the area to "Add level 0, 1 spells" and add all the 0th level spells I want, which then changes the link to "Add level 1 spells". However, when I click there, the only spells in the list are all 0th level. Does anyone know what I might have done wrong or whether this works properly for others?

You need to add the spells to your familiar before you can select them to prepare.

Aha! That makes perfect sense. I don't know why I didn't think of that given the spellcasting mechanic of witches. Thanks so much for the quick and knowledgeable reply!
